With art direction by Ricardo Castro, under the lens of José de Holanda and artistic makeup by Lau Neves, Iara Rennó finds the 2018 version of the macunaímica figure that he embodies in a photo shoot, in the year of the ephemeris Macunaíma 90 years and Macunaíma Ópera Tupi 10 years (Selo SESC, 2008). The body painting is inspired by the drawings of vases by the Kadiweu indigenous people, from the state of Matogrosso do Sul, where the artist has part of her family origins, and origins from Lau Neves, who grew up with this striking graphic reference.
